Season Table picture

As we inch towards Autumn again, we start to change things over bit by bit reflecting what we see outside. I love the changing seasons, observing and living fully in them, but I do have to admit to a special excitment at the cool breezy days and flame colours of Autumn. It's an especially wonderful season for me, who finds parts of the summer meltingly sticky. I look forward to the cosy drawing in of winter, and the prospect of fires and crisp leaf-kicking walks is already calling me on in the dance... And a full harvest season table is a true joy. No surprise it is already creeping in there before summer is half-past!

  3. Ahh, you captured my love of fall completely--coziness, kicking leaves. It's my favorite season of all :)

  4. Beautiful season table Sarah. I love autumn too. I love soup and fresh bread and snuggling up under quilts on the sofa to watch a good film, and that smell of smoke in the air as gardeners start to burn their rubbish and wood burning stoves are rekindled after the summer. Ooooh, and then there's the build up to Christmas; I can't wait. Enjoying the sunshine today though, I must admit, and getting lots of washing dry which is good.

    Love to you all

I'm not a huge fan of really hot weather either. My heart always lifts as the days get crisp and colder. I love autumn and winter :)
