  2. And here, bought if for Thomas a few weeks ago! Have you noticed all the matching knitted socks? Just after we got it (and before my mum saw it) she told me over the phone that she has knitted Thomas, me and the bump matching knitted socks for this winter, I'm just hoping I can have a lovely homebirth like that mama and that Thomas can be there if he wants to be part of it!

  4. I love this book, but can't read it (or once there were giants) without sobbing, the kids think I am nuts. Mag claims her biggest memory from before Tams was born was putting tiny socks on her thumbs...

  6. I have just had this book arrive today after reading about it in your blog and ordering it. I couldn't agree more with you. It is so lovely. Should come in handy if (when) we have the next one. I'm looking forward to sharing it with my darlings tommorrow. Thank you for bringing it my way.

  7. Sarah! You can't knit?
I am aghast. You are so crafty!
I have not a creative bone in my body, yet even I can knit ;) (Mind you, it suits me because I don't have to be creative, I can just make nice things by following somebody else's instructions...)
