Other Goings On

There has been a lot of painting going on around here.

Lots and lots of painting.


We are just about keeping up with the washing, nappies and towels and goodness there are so many of us right now it's a wonderment we are all eating so well and wearing clean clothes! :)

We have made pizza and taken nice walks and one of us has had terrible pregnancy insomnia... *sigh*

Oh, and we did dyeing of hair with chalk dust. Which was very dusty, even when wet. But quite good fun!

And drying of the rose petals from Jenna's birthday.

And polishing off of leftover birthday cake.

We have had gifts from talented Mamas.

Emma may have found a house (please pray that everything goes smoothly and that she and her little family all continue to stay safe and grow healthy).

We have made cards and birthday gifts for family. Recieved by now!


I made crab apple jelly.

The children made marshmallow animal sculptures and ate the marshmallows when they were done (probably with some unexpectedly crunchy bits lol).

Aw and I snapped a blurry picture of Rowan wearing "her" birthing necklace. *melt*

And, basically, things have been pretty busy (as usual). I feel like I'm juggling like crazy and waiting for everything to fall down around me, to be honest. But, look, life is just SO beautiful, I can't fret too much about those feelings of impending doom. It might never happen, right? ;)

Taking a couple of days off, here, and looking forwards to walking by the sea and knitting with my lovely Ashleigh. So Emma and Connor have the run of the place for a while. :) See you all next week!
