Do you think they self teach better because there are 4 of them? I feel Oscar needs a lot of direction from me and I wonder if its because of his needs or mine (in the early days). V xxx
I think they're all very different, and learn in different ways - Jenna doesn't like suggestions and needs to come to things on her own, for example. Whereas Morgan loves me to bring her ideas for things she might like. It's a dance between offering support and leaving them to it. :)
They definitely pick things up from each other all the time, and the little ones have someone slightly bigger and slightly more skillful around to learn from. They also facilitate for each other. So in a lot of ways Roo and Tali are more independant of me than the others were, just because there are more people they can rely on. Four is easier in some ways and harder in others. Taking them all out of the house is still terrifying. ;)
Beautiful children and yarn! ;)
ReplyDeleteJenna looks so like you now! xx
Thanks! And yeah she is so so like me as a child too... Scary and wonderful.
